Personal Licences - Making an application
A personal licence is designed to make sure anyone running or managing a business that sells or supplies alcohol will do so in a professional manner. Once you receive your personal licence, you can act as the designated premises supervisor for any business that sells or supplies alcohol.
If you live within the Borough of Brentwood you can apply for your Personal Licence here.
To apply for a Personal Licence you must:
- Hold a Relevant Licensing Qualification
- Have a right to live and work in the UK (you can find information about Right of Abode on GOV.UK)
- Be aged 18 or over.
- Not have been convicted of any relevant or foreign offence
- Not forfeited a personal licence within a period of 5 years before making an application.
If you hold an existing Personal Licence with Brentwood you can Amend/Request a Copy of a Personal Licence here
