  • New Loyalty Card Offer -

During April 2019 the Council is phasing out the 20 round tickets for Hartswood. Current 20 round cards will still be honoured until they expire/ the rounds run out.

As from May 2019 a new promotion will be available to all golfers. A loyalty card which will reward all those golfers with a free round after their tenth visit. There are no upfront charges unlike the 20 round ticket and it is available for immediate use by everyone. Just collect your golf card from the Golf Shop before your round and start getting it stamped.

While there may be some disappointment in the removal of the 20 round ticket it was based on an upfront charge whereas the loyalty ticket is available to everyone and based on a pay as you play. We see this as a way of encouraging all players to continue to use the great public course that is available.

Although this may represent a slightly higher charge overall it allows the opportunity for all golfers to have a free round after ten games and still represents very good value when compared to other courses in the area. This loyalty card can be used for both adult and concessionary day rates however cannot be used in conjunction with the twilight offer.

  • Longest Day Golf Challenge -

Hartswood Golf Course is happy to be hosting players who are taking part in the Longest Day Golf Challenge to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support. This will be taking place on Friday 21st June 2019. Although the players involved have been given tee times, we would appreciate other players being considerate and allowing them to play through where necessary. Please do some along on Friday 21st June to play and support these players with their 72 hole challenge (4 rounds of golf!).

This 18 hole, par 70 municipal golf course is one of the finest in the south east of England, set in a beautiful parkland in the heart of Brentwood, Essex. Season tickets and Pay & Play available, as well as concessionary discounts and other special offers.

Please be advised that due to constant abuse the Council is no longer offering the 9 holes option for Pay and Play; only 18 holes and twilight. Apologies for anyone wishing to genuinely only play the 9 holes.
