Virtual Lighting Up and Nutcracker Trail
Thursday December 3rd saw the first online virtual Lighting Up event which marked the start of Christmas and the launch of the Nutcracker Trail. Lighting Up was hosted by Chris Boyland, Chair of Churches Together, and Bryan Dedman of Brentwood Baptist Church, and is available to watch online via the Council's Facebook page:

Families visited 12 Nutcracker Kings located in Brentwood, Shenfield and Ingatestone. The competition ran for 6 weeks and people were entered into a draw to be picked at random to win...
- 1st prize - Nintendo Switch Lite
- 2nd prize - Amazon Fire Tablet
- 3rd prize - a £50 shopping voucher

Please post entries in post boxes provided at the 3 given locations (details can be found in your Nutcracker Trail booklet), online entries can be emailed to events@brentwood.gov.uk. The competition will run from Thursday 3 December to Friday 8 January 2021. Your name, telephone and email address must be clearly displayed on entry form. All entries will be place into a pot and be drawn at random by the Deputy Mayor of Brentwood. Winners will be announced on 14 January 2021 and will be contacted directly and prizes given accordingly (1st prize Nintendo Switch Lite with game, 2nd prize kids Amazon Fire Tablet, 3rd prize £50 shopping voucher no cash alternatives).
