South Essex 2050

Over the past few years, the Association of South Essex Local Authorities (ASELA) has sought to understand your views about what it’s like to live or work in your local area and what you hope to achieve in the future. These consultations are vital in shaping local services, but ASELA wants to start a different kind of conversation too: about the long-term future for the South Essex region in 2050.

We want to explore how South Essex could change over the next 30 years. What we might be able to achieve together. How we can focus our efforts and direct investment towards the things that matter most.

That’s why the YourSaySE2050 website has launched. Over the next three months the group will be posing a number of important questions and using a variety of tools to capture your thoughts. Why not join the conversation today, by sharing your story, completing the survey or by posting your thoughts about the future we might dream of for the region on our Ideas Board.

Before implementing the proposed PSPO Brentwood Borough Council consulted with residents, businesses and organisations in the area and those who may be affected by the proposals to seek views and consider any alternative suggestions or amendments.
