We take seriously any instances of sales of age related products such alcohol, tobacco, knives or solvents being made to children (i.e. persons under the ages of 16 to 18 years old depending on the type of product being sold).
We're working in partnership with Essex County Council Trading Standards and Essex Police to target enforcement. We welcome information on any underage sales that you have witnessed taking place, or other information about premises where children are able to obtain age restricted products.

How reports are processed
Any reports about under age sales will be shared with our partners, Trading Standards and the Police, and will be actioned accordingly. We may contact you further if we require more information.
