Statement of Accounts

Delay to the Notice of the Commencement of the Period for the Exercise of Public Rights

The Accounts and Audit (Coronavirus) (Amendment) Regulations 2021

The public inspection period for the accounts for the year ending 31 March 2021 would normally be required to include the first ten working days of June under the Local Audit and Accountability Act 2014

Due to the ongoing impact of the Coronavirus pandemic, this requirement has been suspended in respect of the accounts for the year ending 31 March 2021, by The Accounts and Audit (Amendment) Regulations 2021.

The Council is now required to commence its public inspection period no later than the first working day of August 2021.

Confirmation of the dates of the public inspection period will be published in a separate notice.
