Lighting up Brentwood
Saturday 22 November 2025, 12 to 6pm
Free entry to Live performances across multiple stages, market stalls, food, drink, gifts, funfair rides, festive walkabout acts and entertainment, the return of the Giant Christmas Bauble, Santa’s Grotto, a Santa Parade (11:45am) and the Christmas light switch on (5pm).
This is an event from Brentwood Borough Council and Brentwood Connected, the Business Improvement District (BID), funded by Brentwood, Shenfield and Ingatestone businesses. We are looking for minimal conflict between stallholder products and existing businesses in Brentwood High Street. We will carefully curate stalls and positions on this basis, so you should be clear in your application about the products you will be selling.
Ingatestone festive fair
Sunday 7 December 2025, 12 to 6pm
Free entry to Festive activities including entertainment and walkabout acts, live music performances, 25+ traditional Christmas market stalls selling food, gifts and a wide selection of handmade items, along with food, drink and festive fun from Ingatestone businesses, a Christmas Toy Trail, plus indoor community market with Santa’s Grotto.
This is an event from Brentwood Connected, the Business Improvement District (BID), funded by Brentwood, Shenfield and Ingatestone businesses, so we must ensure there is no conflict between stallholder products and what is already on offer in Ingatestone. Artisan makers and handmade businesses will be prioritised. You should be clear in your application about the products you will be selling. We will consider food or drink vendors who do not compete with Ingatestone High Street hospitality businesses.
A traditional festive market stall set-up is provided at the Ingatestone Festive Fair. The stalls are pre-assembled with a canopy, skirt, table and weights. The table area measures 2.13m x 0.91m with the overall measurements of the space (including canopy) being 7ft x 7ft (2.13m x 2.13m). We are not looking for any businesses to trade from gazebos at this event.

Family fun days
We successfully worked in partnership with Brentwood Connected Business Improvement District to deliver four action packed Family Fun Days this Summer.
Families joined us in our local parks and high streets for free events with lots of activities, such as rides, sports, crafts, Punch and Judy shows and healthy food demonstrations. Many local organisations, clubs and groups attended and provided advice and support to local residents.
Thank you to our sponsors Mullis and Peake LLP, Razzamataz Theatre School and Stagecoach Performing Arts Brentwood.
