The sporting communities of Brentwood and Rochford came together for a night of celebration as the winners of the 2025 Brentwood and Rochford Sports Awards were announced.
The awards ceremony, held earlier this week (Tuesday 4 November) at The Mill Arts & Events Centre in Rayleigh, recognised the outstanding achievements of athletes, coaches and volunteers who have made significant contributions to local sports over the past year.
This year's awards showcased a diverse range of talent across various sports, highlighting the dedication, skill and passion that exist within the sporting communities. The awards honoured those who have not only excelled in their sporting field but have also made a positive impact on the local sporting community.

Following the awards ceremony, the Mayor of Brentwood, Councillor Jay Laplain, said: “From the athletes, to the sporting clubs - and the volunteers that support them in their achievements – we have a fantastic sports community in the borough.
“Our sports awards were the opportunity to celebrate their achievements and dedication to their sport. Thank you to everyone who took the time to nominate and congratulations to all our winners and those that were highly commended. Judging these awards are so difficult as everyone who was nominated has made a positive impact.”
