Brentwood UK Shared Prosperity Fund Culture and Sport Grant Programme now open

Date

Brentwood Borough Council is inviting applications from not-for-profit organisations, registered charities and businesses for a share of funding available through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.

Applications can be made for between £6,000 and £12,000 to support culture and sport initiatives delivered between 1 August 2025 and 31 March 2026.

The Council is looking for applications that support improvement to health and wellbeing through sports facilities and participation, as well as projects that bring communities together through arts, culture and heritage.

Cllr David Kendall, Chair of Finance and Resources Committee, said: “Over the last three years we have successfully distributed £1million of UK Shared Prosperity Fund to businesses and communities in Brentwood. This is the third annual grant scheme we have opened to support culture and sport development in the Borough. Previous UKSPF funded schemes have shown a range of projects created and delivered by organisations at the heart of communities that have had many positive impacts and outcomes for awardees and participants.”

All information, guidance and the online application form is available at www.brentwood.gov.uk/funding.

The application window is open until midnight on Monday 23 June.

All enquiries should be made via email to ukspf@brentwood.gov.uk.
