As part of the Planning and Compulsory Purchase Act 2004, the council are required to prepare a 'Local Development Scheme' (LDS).
The LDS is a project plan for preparing new planning policy documents. It identifies which local development documents will be produced, in what order, and when. The document includes:
- timescales for the production of the Local Plan; and
- timescales for various new Supplementary Planning Documents.
The most recent LDS was approved by the council's 'Policy, Resources & Economic Development Committee' on 13 July 2022 and is available to download below:
