Brentwood Centre improvement project
Brentwood Borough Council in partnership with Everyone Active has embarked on the redevelopment of the Brentwood Centre, transforming it into a modern, inclusive and environmentally sustainable leisure destination.
With the Council looking to invest multi-millions to initiate the transformation, the project includes a combination of refurbishment and new-build elements to improve facilities and expand services.

Timeline
- 17 September 2025 – Asset Strategy & Projects Committee approval for Redevelopment project
- 31 October – Concept Design Completed
- 3 December – Concept Design & Business Case presented to Committee for approval
As part of our commitment to community engagement, in partnership with Everyone Active and GT3 Architects, we are inviting residents, users of the Brentwood Centre, and key stakeholders to share your views on the existing building, key objectives for the project and vision for the building through an online survey.
The survey is open until Wednesday 22 October, and feedback gathered will help shape the next stage of the design process, ensuring the redevelopment reflects the needs and aspirations of the community.
