Family Fun Days - Summer 2016

We had a fantastic Summer, with our 5 Fun Days attracting 6000 of you to our local parks to enjoy a day out. Many other local organisations joined us to provide activities for free.

Families are able to enjoy bouncy castles, Punch and Judy shows, arts and crafts, competitions, come and try sports, small rides, face painting and other activities.  Of course, there is always an ice cream van too! Many activities were free, making it a great affordable family day out.

This year's Family Fun Days were sponsored by the Baytree Centre and Safer Brentwood

Strawberries and Queen!

This years Strawberry Fair took place on Saturday 11th June on Shenfield Common.

More than 5000 people came to Brentwood to enjoy Strawberries and Queen on the weekend – that’s more than double the visitors who attended last year!

In honour of The Queen's 90th birthday celebrations, Brentwood Borough Council renamed the annual Strawberry Fair and gave it a royal twist.

Many thanks to our sponsors, the Baytree Centre and Beresfords who made it possible to keep the event free-entry for the community to enjoy.
