Cemetery Record Search

The Council will endeavour to assist people trying to locate lost relatives who have been buried in one of our cemeteries, and the person to contact regarding this and any other queries is the Cemeteries Technical Officer on 01277 312652 email: depotadmin@brentwood.gov.uk.

Or try our online Cemetery Records Search facility, which is being updated on a regular basis. With this search you are able to find out where someone is buried and date of burial. Not all of the records are held electronically, so if you wish to contact the office please do so on 01277 312652 or by email at depotadmin@brentwood.gov.uk.

You can also search records in the Essex Record Office where you can find scanned records of burial records by using their SEAX system.

For any other information please contact the Cemetery Department by using the Contact Us on line form (select Miscellaneous/Cemeteries), which is sent directly to the service.
