On Street Parking
All on street parking services are now delivered by Chelmsford City Council as part of the South Essex Parking Partnership, which delivers on-street parking enforcement in Brentwood, Basildon, Castle Point, Chelmsford, Maldon and Rochford. The Council is also part of the South Essex Partnership Joint Committee, which takes responsibility for the decision making of the new operation.
All on-street new and renewal residents and visitor parking permits, the processing of penalty charge notices/recovery of fines and all associated enquiries and administration are delivered by Chelmsford City Council.

Calls cost no more than calls to geographic numbers (01 or 02). Calls from landlines are typically charged up to 9p per minute; calls from mobiles typically cost between 3p and 40p per minute depending on your network provider. Calls from landlines and mobiles are included in free call packages.

The Shopmobility is located in Coptfold Road multi storey car park. We have nine electric scooters and a manual wheelchair.
The service is free to anybody who is registered disabled and who is able to pass a simple test to show they can use the equipment safely.
We are committed to making parking facilities as easy to use as possible for everybody.
Dedicated bays for disabled badge holders are provided in most of the public car parks.
Parking is free for Blue Badge holders in our Pay and Display car parks.
