Brentwood Borough Council is inviting expressions of interest from individuals or organisation(s) to manage all or any of its six community halls.
The Council has drawn up a briefing pack setting out its aspirations and a proposed way forward.

After the initial submissions of expressions of interest, the Council will invite each interested party for an informal meeting to share their ideas and for the Council to answer any questions.

A closing date for receipt of expressions of interest is set for 8 October 2018, to allow sufficient time for the informal meetings.
Brentwood Borough Council’s Chair of the Community, Health and Housing Committee, Councillor Chris Hossack, said: “The Council’s Community Halls provide valuable assets to the communities providing a broad range of activities that suit all ages.
The Council is looking at ensuring that these assets continue to provide high-level services to the community and as such is looking to engage with any interested parties that can work with the Council to ensure their long-term sustainability.”
