The Dunton Hills Garden Village SPD was adopted at Policy, Resources & Economic Development Committee on 8 February 2023.
The SPD sets out broad principles to show how the Garden Village should be designed, translating the policy requirements in the Brentwood Local Plan into a well designed and successful place. It provides detailed guidance which interprets the Local Plan policies in a manner appropriate to the Garden Village.
Planning applications at Dunton Hills will be reviewed alongside the policies of the Brentwood Local Plan and the guidance set out in this SPD. The guidance in this SPD forms a material consideration when determining future applications.

Please note any person with sufficient interest in the decision to adopt the SPD may apply to the High Court for permission to apply for judicial review of that decision. Such application must be made promptly and no later than 3 months after the date on which the SPD was adopted.
