With the summer holidays just around the corner Brentwood Borough Council are announcing six FREE family fun days in our local parks.
The Council is pleased to be able to put on these events to help keep children active and entertained and just as importantly, affordable for parents and grandparents with lots of activities free and a £2.50 wristband for bouncy castles and rides. The ever-popular face painting costs just £3.50 a child. But if you do not wish to purchase wristbands you are still able to enjoy many free activities.
Join us in King George's Park for the first fun day on Friday 28 July from 11am - 3pm for a day filled with fun, adventure and activities.
You will be taken on a journey through our story telling, Hartbeeps will be providing fun classes for babies, toddlers and pre-school children, have some jumping fun with Bounce who provide taster sessions on individual trampolines, or why not have some fun dressing up and getting into character with Brentwood Theatre.
Children can also get creative and design and take part in the postcard competition for the Mayor of Brentwood every week.

Our Family Fun Days are a great way to enjoy the Borough’s open green places by bringing along a blanket and picnic, but of course there will also be refreshments and ice-cream available to buy at each event.
Brentwood Borough Council's Chair of the Community, Health and Housing Committee, Councillor Chris Hossack, said: “It can be difficult to keep children entertained throughout the summer holidays. At least with the family fun days you have one day a week sorted with some fantastic outdoor activities, entertainment and arts and crafts.
We’ve tried to keep the fun days as affordable as possible and many of the activities are free, but there will be a small charge for the bouncy castles, rides and face painting.”
Please note that parking is strictly limited at all the venues so please use public transport or walk where possible.
