Banking on Essex
Banking on Essex is working in partnership with the retail banking sector to provide a banking service to the small businesses of Essex. Qualifying Essex businesses will be able to apply for credit up to £100,000. Banking on Essex also provides business overdrafts. The Council promotes economic vitality in the Borough by working to provide and encourage opportunities for business development and investment. The Council hosts annual business events, conferences and exhibitions which are free to attend. Keep an eye on this section of the website for future dates.

The Council compiles a Commercial Property Register and works with the Essex Investment Office to provide information to companies seeking premises. A wide range of complementary information - listings of industrial estate tenants, census and other data, is available.
