TuckIN Making food better

TuckIN is an Essex wide scheme aiming to 'make food better'

We work with local food businesses to lower their sugar, salt and fat content, offer reduced portion sizes and create more choice on their menus.

Food businesses in Brentwood are being asked to make food better by pledging to reduce the fat, sugar and salt and calories in their food.

These small changes to the way food is prepared or in the options available can make a big difference, especially if the foods are eaten regularly. There is no cost to businesses making the pledge and they are provided with free advice and free nutritional training.

The TuckIN campaign is gaining momentum across Essex, with 150 sign ups to date and 90 people trained. .
