Discounted Rail Cards

The Rail Delivery Group offers an opportunity for Brentwood residents to purchase a discounted railcard and the Council has made the following arrangements to purchase/renew a railcard:

To apply for or to renew an existing railcard you will require a unique code.  This code will be issued to you at the following location:

Copperfield General Store

Copperfield Gardens

Brentwood

CM14 4UD

To receive your unique code you must take with you the following documents:

a)      Proof of age (60yrs or over) – either a valid passport, birth certificate or driving licence

b)      Proof of Brentwood residency – either a recent Council Tax bill or utility bill

Please note: You will not be required to make a payment for your railcard at the Copperfield General Store, however a 1 admin fee is payable.

Once you have received your unique code this will allow you to

a)      Buy or renew your railcard online at www.senior-railcard.co.uk or

b)      Buy or renew your railcard by telephoning telesales on 0345 3000 250 (calls are charged at the national rate)

Please note: You will not be able to purchase or renew your railcard at the Council offices and will be advised of the process as detailed above.
