Following the adverse weather conditions, the garden waste collection was suspended from Thursday 1st March. Normal garden waste collection was resumed on Monday 5th March. If your collection was missed on Thursday 1st, Friday 2nd or Saturday 3rd March, please present in a fortnight on your next scheduled garden waste collection day.
The glass collection was suspended on Thursday 1st and Friday 2nd March. Glass collection recommenced on Saturday 3rd March. If your collection was missed on Thursday 1st or Friday 2nd March, please present in a fortnight on your next scheduled glass collection day.
For missed collections of Household Waste (Refuse) and/or Recycling please check:
- It was available from 7.30am on the correct collection day
- It was placed at the kerbside at the front of your property
- Acceptable items were placed out for recycling
- All garden waste should be contained in the official biodegradable sacks or leased brown wheelie bin.
The following are examples of waste that will not be collected as part of your refuse service:
- Clinical waste
- Garden waste
- Loose waste
- Bulky items
- Dead domestic pets
- Paint tins
- Commercial waste
- Cooking oil

Report a Missed Collection
If you have complied with the above requirements please either place your recycling out for collection on your next collection day (weekly for black sacks, food waste and orange sacks, and fortnightly for garden and glass collections) or report the missed collection by completing our online form below:
Please note:We are unable to return and collect a missed collection if it has not been reported on the collection day or the following working day.
We aim to collect missed collections by the end of the next working day.
