Request

I would be grateful if you could provide me with the following information either electronically or in hard copy:

* the number of successful applications to your Local Authority of the Community Right to Bid subsequent to the passage of the Localism Act (2011)
* the details of these successful bids; including how and when they were made, by which groups and in relation to which community assets, and the result
* the total number of applications you have received, whether successful or unsuccessful, for the Community Right to Bid

I would appreciate it if you could confirm your receipt of this request in writing. Equally, please do not hesitate to contact me if you require any further clarification.

I understand that you are required to respond to my request within the 20 working days after you receive this letter. I look forward to hearing from you in the near future.

Response

* the number of successful applications to your Local Authority of the Community Right to Bid subsequent to the passage of the Localism Act (2011)
The Council has two successful application on their list. There are currently another two which are currently being assessed with a decision to be made by councillors on 20 November 2014.
* the details of these successful bids; including how and when they were made, by which groups and in relation to which community assets, and the result
All of the details are on the Council’s website www.brentwwood.gov.uk on the home page under Open Data, Property.

* the total number of applications you have received, whether successful or unsuccessful, for the Community Right to Bid – A total of 4 have been received. As of this date no applications have been unsuccessful.
