Q6 Who currently delivers the following services for the Council?

Estate Management Services - including maintenance of, cleaning to hard and green spaces?

In-house service

Grounds Maintenance Services / Green Space Maintenance Services for Housing and Non Housing areas of the Council

In-house service

Housing Repairs, Maintenance, Void Property Management Services, 24 hours / 7 days week service

Wates Living Space provides general building services inc voids and planned maintenance.
Oakray provides M&E services inc voids and planned maintenance
Precision Lifts maintain lifts and planned maintenance

Management of Call Centre Operation for the provision of these services

There is a central call centre for Council Services. When ringing this, callers are offered a menu which enables them to be put through to the contractors’ call handling teams.

Name of contract?

Wates, Oakray and Precision each have a Comprehensive Maintenance contract for their respective parts of the Housing Service

There will also be some ad hoc contracts for structural work . window renewal, roof renewal, asbestos surveys and removal. These will be tendered on an as and when needed basis.

The contracts each commenced on 4 June 2014 for five years

May 2019 unless there is a breach of contract delivery

Is the contract subject to an extension and how long?

The Housing Contracts have the option to extend up to five years.
Total value of contract?

Currently the Maintenance Contracts are assumed to have the following annual values

Wates £3m p.a.
Oakray £2m p.a.
Precision £20,000 per annum
