I have been informed that the lift service contracts in the borough have been awarded for 5 years.
Being a local company, we have previously quoted for repair works and asked to be included for the tender process for the maintenance contract.
It seems that there was no tender process or it was poorly advertised.
My question is was it advertised and if so where.
The tender was advertised in accordance with the European procurement law via the OJEU procedure. We also asked leaseholders for nominations (as part of the Sc 20 consultation) If the company subscribes to receive the notices of these contracts he would have received notification. Most companies undertaking public sector housing services subscribe to this. We did not specifically advertise locally.
