(4) Do you offer a free Christmas tree recycling service? Does this include collection?
Yes – we do offer service for residents (not business/trades) and details of this collection can be found on the Council website - Christmas trees can be recycled by using the garden waste kerbside collection service. On the day of collection place your tree either on the footpath or should it prove to be an obstruction, please position it as close as you can to your boundary with the highway. Additionally please tie one of the official compostable sacks to the trunk. This is for identification purposes as it can be sometimes difficult to spot the tree if it's in a front garden. Please Note: There will be no collection of green waste or Christmas trees until after the two week Christmas and New Year holiday period.
