iv. Does the council have
any Bin Lifters on vehicles mechanically prepared for Bin weighing Systems?
v. Do you operate and charge
for Green Waste or Garden collection, if no, do you have any plans to charge in the future?

16 RCVs : 15 x Dennis Eagle, Terberg Omnidell Bin Lift.

1 x Daf Chassis, Geesinknorba Body, Geesinknorba Trade Lift.

One RCV : Dennis Eagle, Olympus, Terberg Omnidell Split Lift, In House Service

iv. Does the council have any Bin Lifters on vehicles mechanically prepared for Bin weighing Systems?

Yes
v. Do you operate and charge for Green Waste or Garden collection, if no, do you have any plans to charge in the future?

Yes – we currently either lease brown bins for £41 per month or residents can purchase Garden Waste sacks for £3 for a roll of 10 sacks. Garden Waste is collected fortnightly from kerbside.

vi. Are you currently using vehicle mounted weighing systems on your Fleet, if so, what type and specification are you using?

Subject to continual improvement by management and the operatives; services also challenged and assisted by external consultants, such as Plan B and WYG , to verify the efficiency and effectiveness of services.
