1)      The amount spent by your authority on the installation of public-facing CCTV cameras and the purchase or lease of recording equipment and premises.

I request that the information be laid out in the following format:

Costs incurred above for 2013/14 were to replace two existing cameras, not for additional cameras.  Expenditure in 2014/15 was to replace existing recording system which was obsolete and the recording storage was failing – replaced with IP capable equipment using existing analogue cameras; also to transfer cameras being recorded separately at multi-storey car park to Town Hall system (therefore increase in total number of cameras from previous year)

 

2)      The annual cost of your authority’s public-facing CCTV operation and maintenance.

Above costs are the total budget for CCTV minus staff costs reported below; includes recharges of central support costs as well as CCTV operational costs such as electricity, telecommunications, repairs and maintenance etc.  All cameras currently in operation are in fixed locations

 

3)      The annual wage and salary cost of CCTV operators including pension liabilities to your authority.
